Some History of The Vessel

Bridlewilde was designed by Al Mason and built in Picton, Prince Edward County, Ontario by Raymond McIntosh. She has a steel full keeled hull with a cutaway forefoot. The boat was refitted in 2004 by her then owner Ellie Bridle, who also had her interior redesigned for day motoring. Although she is a blue water boat, she had only ever sailed the waters of Lake Ontario, specifically, the Bay of Quinte. We purchased her in the fall of 2010 with the intent of moving her to her new home port on Nova Scotia's Atlantic south shore coast.
